It’s not even Halloween yet but I can’t help but think of shiny New Year’s parties after seeing these babies. Def loving the multi-colored glitter!
Topshop Sakura Glitter Platform Heels
Steve Madden Snobbie Glitter Sandal
Arden B Glitter Pump
I really want to splurge on these Topshop Proud Block boots but I can’t since I already used up my splurge budget on the AllSaints Damisi Boots. Darn.
It’s almost that time to ghoul yourself up and party like the world’s being taken over by swarms of the undead. Hopefully you’ve already got your costume all planned out so that you don’t end up like those unfortunate souls who are frantically ransacking the local Aahs the day before Halloween. Hey, it happens sometimes. For those that are just looking for a last minute touch to their outfit, here’s a few accessories to glam up your Halloween costume.
These pale, bat tattoo tights are the perfect touch for your sexy witch costume. And they’re only $18 on Etsy!
How sweet are these! I wish I was Ariel this year just so I can wear these starfish barrettes and be the cutest (and sexiest) little mermaid ever!
Loving this sparkly spider clutch on Etsy. Great for glamorous witches, vampires, prom victims, and any other black tie monster you come up with.
By far the best looking wonder woman boot I’ve seen so far. Much better than the cheesy ones with the weird chunky heels you see all over Halloween costume sites. You can find these Funtasma knee high boots at Endless for $46.95.
You really can’t go wrong with a fancy masquerade mask. Works for Halloween or a masquerade ball. If you’re really strapped for a costume, just wear a little black dress and a fancy mask. It’ll get you through the party in style.
Nothing will literally add more flavor to your Halloween costume than these candy corn flavored lip balms. They’re only $3.50 on Etsy! Unfortunately, I overdosed on candy corn back in the day and have not touched those evil things since. I also haven’t touched Jaeger since a certain bday, but that’s a different story. Wow, I could be tortured into saying anything if all I was given to eat was candy corn and Jaegermeister. Blech!
And there you go. A few great accessories to perfect your Halloween costume this season. Be safe, have fun, and watch out for those overly aggressive True Blood vampire types.
Report Cricket Boots Nordstrom $189.95
I’m very much in love with this boot. I’m putting them on my wishlist even though I have a million boots! I AM A BOOT ADDICT! My friend has been strutting her stuff in these and they look amazing. The leather is a bit on the distressed side which I love and the quality looks much more than the price tag.
I just created my first widget on ShopStyle. It’s pretty cool. I just favorited all the thigh high boots I like, created a look, and ShopStyle made a widget for me. Awesome! It’s kinda like having a super wishlist since Shopstyle seems to consolidate data feeds from many brands (at least I think that’s how it works). Anyway, because they can list all the products, it’s great for me because I can have a super wishlist that spans multiple stores instead of keeping a wishlisht at 20 different spots.
So here’s my amazing selection of thigh high boots! I love thigh high boots. They bring some serious sexiness to your outfit. The days of the Pretty Woman hooker boots are all in the past. Thigh high boots can be sophisticated if you want them to be. Enjoy!
The lines of this Nicholas Kirkwood pump are absolutely perfect. As well as the electric blue color (i’m sure someone turned up the saturation on this pic). It definitely makes a beautiful shape in terms of negative space.
Mandah Studded Boot at Bergdorf Goodman $795
Here’s a little taste of the Jimmy Choo & Ugg Collaboration. Who okay’d this? Jimmy Choo & Ugg do not perfection meet. Please don’t bedazzle a pair of Uggs, slap Jimmy Choo in the title and think that people will shell out $795 for them. But hey, maybe someone who loves Uggs will love these. I was never really into the Ugg craze. I always thought they were overpriced and not practical since I live in suny SoCal (Yes, I know that tons of people in LA wear the Uggs).
I was just checking out the AllSaints site yesterday since they just opened up a store in my neighborhood. I guess I never really knew how pricey they were since I’ve always window shopped on their UK site which is in GBP. I must get better at on the fly fx conversion! Anyhoo, I came across these Allsaints Damisi Boots in black leather and I instantly fell in love. I wanted to buy them right away but decided to sleep on it before spending $250. I still really wanted them in the morning and convinced myself that this will be my prized Fall purchase and that I’d get major use out of them. Sadly, I refreshed my page and they were out of my size. Wanh. I guess I’ll call up the store and see if they have them in stock.
Oh just stumbled on a site called DemiCouture and they’ve got Steve Madden’s ‘inspired’ version – the Alleyy. Not as cool as the Damisi since it has a side zipper and all I really wanted to do was fold down the Damisi boot, but I’ll check it out.
Update & Review
The All Saints boots are mine! I snapped them up online because I was scared my store wouldn’t get them. I had to get a size up though which actually isn’t so bad. The store told me they run big, and my size 37 is big but I’m liking the roominess. It chafed the back of my ankle a bit when I first wore them but I’m still breaking them in. They are amazing and I get compliments whenever I wear them. Definitely a worthwhile purchase. The only downside for me is that they made the buckles in a way that rattles when they’re not buckled up. It’s not so bad though. I just hate it when I make a lot of noise as I walk whether it’s jewelry or shoes. Anyway, I’m getting used to it and if I really can’t stand it then I can take a pair of pliers and tighten up the offending piece of metal. I’ve worn them with skinny jeans, long dresses, shorts, and skirts. Honestly, they look good with EVERYTHING!
